Lenna Alice “Lennie” Buscher, 78, of Festus died Sept. 8, 2018, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Facility in Festus. Mrs. Buscher was a well-known Tupperware saleswoman in the Festus area. She had previously worked for American Greetings as a retail card seller. Affectionately known as “Puddin,” she enjoyed puzzle books, taking family pictures, old movies, Cardinal baseball, and spending time with family and friends, especially her granddaughter. Born June 25, 1940, in Valley Park, she was the daughter of the late Lenna (Girardier) and Guy Boyd.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Arthur H. Buscher of Festus; two sons: Michael (Melissa) Buscher of St. Louis and Stephen Buscher of Festus; a granddaughter: Kathryn Buscher of St. Louis; a brother-in-law: Bill Losch of St. Louis; a sister-in-law: Shirley Boyd of St. Louis; and many family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by five brothers: Dee, Roy, Guy Jr., Glenn and David Boyd; and four sisters: Kanoie Ethridge, Neoma Losch, Sheari Boyd and Faith Whitaker.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
