LeAnn Marie Falcetti-Sevcik, 52, of Arnold died April 25, 2019. Mrs. Falcetti-Sevcik was a dedicated teacher and mentor in the Rockwood School District for 29 years, 25 of those at Rockwood Summit High School. She loved learning as much as teaching, sponsoring many international trips, especially to Germany. She was a 1984 graduate of Fox High School and a 1989 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, then earned a master’s degree from Maryville University in 1998. She had a radiant smile and infectious laughter and made a lasting difference to thousands of students and friends.
She was the daughter of the late “Bud” and Doris Falcetti.
She is survived by her husband: Brad Sevcik; two sons: Zackary and Ezekial Sevcik; and countless students, former students and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Memorials may be made to the LeAnn Falcetti-Sevcik Memorial Scholarship at Rockwood Summit High School, 1780 Hawkins Road, Fenton 63026. No cash or credit cards can be accepted at school; checks should be payable to Rockwood Summit High School. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
