Larry G. Main, 72, of Imperial died Nov. 3, 2017, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County. Mr. Main was a tool crib worker for Chrysler and a member of U.A.W. Local 136. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born Aug. 8, 1945, in Evansville, Ind., he was the son of the late Clarence and Thelma (Deick) Main.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce (Allen) Main of Imperial; two sons: Michael Martin of Kentucky and Jeffrey (Abi) Martin of Florida; five daughters: Robin (Robert) house of Kentucky, Kris (Brad) Layton of Arnold, Dana Shannon of Barnhart, Kerri (Scott) Misener of Arkansas and Jessica Main of Arnold; a sister: Pamela Carothers; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Beverly Kent; a daughter: Stephanie Standridge; a grandson: Chris House; his mother-in-law: Vivian Wencker; two brothers-in-law: Gary Carothers and Al Kent.
Visitation is scheduled at 3 p.m. and a funeral service at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County, officiated by the Rev. Brad Bean. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Christopher Reeve Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
