Kimberly Sue (Owen) Meder, 55, of Imperial died March 6, 2021. Ms. Meder was a court reporter and worked as a bartender at Busch Stadium during baseball season. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Arnold Eagles and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a fierce and loyal friend to those lucky enough to have known her. Born Aug. 28, 1965, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Len B. and Sally I. (Detjen) Owen.
She is survived by one child: Jesse Ryan Walker; five siblings: Jeffery (Sherry) Owen, Linda Fischer, Kathleen Emberton, Wendy (David) Schiller and James Owen; her special friend: Keith Schaeffer; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and family pets Eddy, Adeline and Bowie.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the funeral home. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
