Kevin Paul Dallas, 55, of Crystal City died Feb. 27, 2020, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Dallas worked as a business development executive for Masterpac East and West Trading and also was a community organizer for A.R.C.S. NA. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. He graduated from Crystal City High School, where he was on the state championship tennis team, and attended Jefferson College on a tennis scholarship, later graduating from Southwest Missouri State University. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing tennis, hanging out with his friends and wearing expensive suits. But, most of all, he enjoyed taking his mother to church picnics and to concerts, festivals and trips to Branson. Born Jan. 21, 1965, in Crystal City, he was the son of Judith Rae (Derque) Dallas of Crystal City and the late Edward Richard Dallas Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers: Edward Richard (Lisa) Dallas Jr. of Park Hills, John Joseph (Tonya) Dallas of Blue Springs and Scott Derque Dallas of Crystal City; a half sister: Carla Mangan of Festus; his special friends: Christine, Jeff and Doug; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Lynn Dallas.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
