Judith Ann Murphy, 53, of Festus died May 31, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Murphy worked as a server at McDonald’s and enjoyed sewing, cooking and watching cooking shows. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Festus. Born Sept. 25, 1964, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Joann (Copeland) and James Everitt Van Gordon.
She is survived by her husband: Lee Dayle Murphy of Festus; a sister: Barbara Jo (Ren) Chapel of Corning, Ark.; two siblings-in-law: John Moran of Herculaneum and Tammy Moran of Herculaneum; a cousin: J. L. Tucker; three aunts: Eunivie Glenn of Corning, Lou (Mom) Tucker of St. Charles and Barb Van Gordon; and an uncle: Glenn Irwin of Corning.
A funeral service was held June 5 at Faith Baptist Church in Festus. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
