Joseph T. Appleton, 50, of Imperial died July 5, 2021, in Centerville. Mr. Appleton was a retired ironworker and a member of Elks Lodge 1721. Born May 31, 1971, in St. Louis, he was the son of Judy (Jones) and Gary Appleton Sr. of Hillsboro.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 27 years: Tamara (Womble) Appleton; two children: Joey Appleton and Jake Appleton, both of Imperial; two brothers: Jeff Appleton and Gary Appleton Jr., both of Hillsboro; a sister-in-law: Katie Appleton of Hillsboro; a nephew: Mateo Appleton; and two nieces: Sara Appleton and Elle Appleton.
Memorial visitation will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Burial will be in Imperial. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
