Joseph P. Hendrix Sr., 63, of Festus died March 26, 2016, in Festus. Mr. Hendrix was a driver for Waste Management Inc. He was born July 14, 1952, in St. Louis, the son of the late Roy E. and Edna Pearl (Havener) Hendrix.
He is survived by his wife: Marcia (Lang) Hendrix; two sons: David (Emily) Bone of Festus and Joseph Hendrix Jr. of Bonne Terre; four daughters: Crystal Bone of Festus, Alana (Billy) Stoehr of De Soto, Vanessa (Bob) Crider-Sanneman of Sullivan and Dawn (Jason) Sucher of High Ridge; a sister: Winnie Nicholson of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers: Steven Hendrix of De Soto, Glennon Hendrix of Tuscumbia and John Hendrix of Park Hills; and nine grandchildren: Aiden, Alexis, Logan, Jacob, Ely, Zeric, Shantille, Marissa and Kyle.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Joyce Fox; and two brothers: Robert and Douglas Hendrix.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Kutis South County Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, March 30, at the funeral home, officiated by Ron Kulp. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes.
