Johnnie Bradley Lewis, 89, of House Springs died Dec. 4, 2020, at his home. Mr. Lewis retired after working for 41 years at the Chrysler Corp.’s Fenton plant. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, playing cards, gardening and decorating his yard. Born July 22, 1931, in Pineville, Ky., he was the son of the late Minnie Ethel (Bailey) and John Bradley Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Virginia Lewis.
He is survived by two children: Kathy (Kevin) Miller of High Ridge and John B. Lewis III of House Springs; five grandchildren: Rob, Matt (Laura), Jason (Tricia) and Brett (Jaime) Miller and Lindsey (Jason) Perkins; seven great-grandchildren: Malone, Liam, Elaina, Landon, Maggie, Evan and Nolan, and one to be born.
He was preceded in death by seven siblings: Otto Lewis, Ella Tarvin, Allen Lewis, Wilma Asher, Elmo Lewis, Jean Lawson and Vivian Woods.
Services were private. Memorials may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary, 6065 Duda Road, House Springs MO 63051; or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38148. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Cedar Hill.
