Joan Sue “Joanie” Ligibel, 86, of Hillsboro died June 13, 2020. Ms. Ligibel worked as an accountant for General Electric then for Macy’s before retiring. She enjoyed visiting casinos, particularly playing the slot machines. She also enjoyed going to hear country music with her friends. She was born Aug. 5, 1933, in St. Louis.
She is survived bu a son: Gary Hannick; a daughter-in-law: Melissa; and two granddaughters: Rachel and Jessica Hannick of Hillsboro.
She was cremated, and no funeral services were held.
