Jessie “Marlene” Volner, 79, of Hillsboro died Feb. 27, 2019. Mrs. Volner was a former school bus driver for the Fox C-6 School District. Born Aug. 30, 1939, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Clarice M. (Hoffman) and William H. Lepp.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Z. Volner.
She is survived by two sons: Richard (Judith A.) Volner and Ronald S. Volner; a daughter: Charlene K. (Jeff N.) Farny; a brother: William H. Lepp; nine grandchildren: David (Angie), Amy, Karly (Jason), Katy, Leslie (Roger), Jesse, Scott and Michael Volner and Ashley (Danny) Phillips; and 13 great-grandchildren: Hailey, Joey, Jace, Ryan, Kloe, Kaleb, Bella, Abby, Alexa, Kera, Cheyenne, Kylie and Nathan.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Beverly Sweeney.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, followed immediately by funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
