Jessie M. Warden, 87, of De Soto died Jan. 23, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Warden was a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading and taking walks. Born Oct. 15, 1931, in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Nora (Juliette) and Charles B. Ross.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde M. Warden.

She is survived by two sons: Barry Warden of Cadet and Steve (Pam) Warden of De Soto; two daughters: Nona Alderson of De Soto and Cheryl (Donnie) Mitchell of De Soto; eight grandchildren: Sarah, David, Alex, Tosha, Jessica, Joshua, Christopher and Bradley; and nine great-grandchildren: Renee, Abigail, Logan, Ella, Emma, Paci, Dallas, Cash and Barrett.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son: Gary Warden; a brother: Harold Ross; and a sister: Dorothy Smith.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. Third St., in De Soto, officiated by Father Alexander Anderson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the Columbia Anns or the Daughters of Isabella. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
