James “Jerry” Churchill, 81, of Hillsboro died Dec. 8, 2020. Mr. Churchill, a veteran of the U.S. Army, was a retired Teamster and a member of the Eagles in Crystal City. He was known for telling jokes and stories. Born May 25, 1939, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late James Oscar and Viola Patricia (Norton) Churchill.
He is survived by three children: James (Michelle) Churchill, Melissa Reeves and Michael (April) Churchill; eight grandchildren: Alexa, Olivia, James II, Dinia, Luke, Zeke, Hayleigh and Aria; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Charlie and Pete.
Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
