Jacqueline Viola ‘Jackie’ (Pade) Bonacker, 88, House Springs

Jacqueline Viola “Jackie” (Pade) Bonacker, 88, of House Springs died April 8, 2023. Mrs. Bonacker was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and spending time with family. She was a member of the Masonic Order of the Amaranth in St. Louis, serving as Grand Royal Matron in 2004. Born Dec. 9, 1934, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Esther (Abegg) and John Pade. She was preceded in death by her husband: Alvin Bonacker.

She is survived by four children: Gary Bonacker, Paul (Linda) Bonacker, Wayne Bonacker and Anna (James) Schmitt; nine grandchildren: Nicholas (Sarah), Michael (Courtney) and Christopher (Christy) Bonacker, Melissa (Mikel) Burkhardt, Susan Strong, Dasha Jones, Craig (Katie) James, Lindsey (Derek) Dunne and Corey (Jackie) Schmitt; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister: Lorraine Fischer; a daughter-in-law: Anita Bonacker; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held April 14 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, followed by a graveside service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
