Jack Albert Walters, 79, of Byrnes Mill died Sept. 7, 2021, at his home. Mr. Walters was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a manager of computer and technical services for Unigroup. He was a member of the Jefferson County Photography Club and the Northwest Jefferson County Historical Society. Born Nov. 24, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Floyd and Grace (Evola) Walters.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Anne (Schramm) Walters of Byrnes Mill; two children: Jennifer Walters of St. Louis and Rebecca (Jason) Powell of Byrnes Mill; two sisters: Judy and Patty; and three brothers: Herbert, Larry, and Alan.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Tom Walters.
Funeral services and burial were private. Memorials may be made to Open Door Animal Sanctuary, 6065 Duda Road, House Springs, 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
