Herbert J. Herman, 78, of Wildwood died Dec. Dec. 22, 2019, at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur. Mr. Herman was a retired auto worker for the Chrysler Corp. Born Aug. 20, 1941, in Festus, he was the son of the late Herbert V. and Elsie (Gendron) Herman.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Janet (Hensley) Herman; two children: Tina Marie (Larry) Kauffman and Michelle Renee (Steve Morris) Onder; two grandchildren: Zachary Lee (Lauren) Seabaugh and Jessica Rae (Shane Fowler) Onder; three great-grandchildren: Maddox and Maggie Seabaugh and Lakelynn Fowler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Fonda Rose (John) Graham.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, in Ballwin. Visitation is at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at the funeral home. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or First Christian Church in Hematite. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
