Glenda Ketcherside Boardman, 65, of De Soto died July 5, 2014, at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto. Ms. Boardman was a 1967 graduate of De Soto High School and worked as a receptionist at Scenic View Nursing Center. Born Jan. 30, 1949, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Buford and Pearl (Thebeau) Ketcherside.
She is survived by two children: Dana (Joe) McKee of De Soto and William (Julie) Boardman Jr. of De Soto; one brother: Bernard (Martha) Ketcherside of De Soto; and two grandchildren: Lyndsay McKee and Perry Boardman. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Leonard and Homer Ketcherside.
Visitation is scheduled at 10 a.m. and funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main in De Soto, officiated by Bob Thebeau. Burial is in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
