
Gerald Lee “Gerald Duval” Wilkson, 78, of St. Louis died Nov. 2, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Wilkson was an aspiring playwright who lived in numerous places throughout his life and worked in the real estate, beauty and talent industries for numerous companies including Glemby, Seligmann and Latz and the New York Health and Racquet Club. He conceived the ideas for Super Cuts and Canned Ego, and was a part-owner of Tomorrow Today Public Relations. He enjoyed his church family and family gatherings. Born June 3, 1943, in Palo Pinto, Texas, he was the son of the late Delores (Lambert) and Gerald Wilkson.
He is survived by two nieces: Susan Baranovic of Belleview and Diana (Victor) Brewer of Hillsboro; two great-nephews: Ryan and Danny Baranovic; two nephews: Allen (Tammy) Baranovic of Bonne Terre and John Baranovic of Olympian Village; and two great-nieces: Brittany (Steven) Wade and Holly Baranovic.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Beverly (the late Allen) Baranovic; and a nephew: Allen Baranovic.
Services were private. Memorials may be made to the Muny, 1 Theatre Drive, St. Louis; or to the Bonne Terre Church of Christ. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes.
