Gary Wayne “Butch” Ross, 76, of Dittmer died March 20, 2022, in Arnold Mr. Ross was a mechanic who served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He was born Dec. 4, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, the son of the late Rita (Riley) and William Ross.
He is survived by his wife: Christine (Gillam) Ross; a daughter: Monica Darlene (Darold) Bennett of Cedar Hill; two sisters: Donna Young and Joann Bear; four grandchildren: Anthony (Amy) Ross-Bennett, Dj (Karli) and Corey Bennett and Miranda (Scotti Smith); and five great-grandchildren: Trey Bennett, Ellemae Smith, Lil Scotti Smith, Ember Bennett and Ryker Bennett.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Raymond Ross, William Ross and Larry Ross.
