Rulo, Floyd

Floyd G. “Greg” Rulo, 72, of Edwardsville, Ill., died Jan. 6, 2019, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill. Mr. Rulo worked for National Grocery Stores and was a retired transportation manager for Super Value Food. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed music, playing golf and hunting. Born June 2, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Margaret Mary “Tince” (Doyen) and Floyd J. Rulo.

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Sue (Rogers) Rulo of Edwardsville; three children: Shane (Vickey) Rulo of Wentzville, Shannon (Clay Selleck) Rulo of Ballwin and Shara (Dan) Ambrosecchia of O’Fallon; two stepsons: Paul White of Hillsboro, ill., and Tom Roberts of St. Louis; a stepdaughter: Bliss (Brian Cameron) White of Hillsboro, Ill.; five siblings: Mark (Bobbie) Rulo of Olathe, Kan., Dennis (JoAnn) Rulo of St. Peters, Kirk (Diane) Rulo of De Soto, Mike (Barbara) Rulo of Richwoods and Kay (Jim) Bieser of Chesterfield; and seven grandchildren: Hayden Pfeifer, Ella Pfeifer, Shane Michael Rulo, Kannon Steinmeyer, Gaven Rulo, Vincent Ambrosecchia and Aaron Selleck.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Richwoods, officiated by Father Mitch Doyen. Burial is in the St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery in Richwoods. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
