Fay Gillmann, 81, of Fenton died July 22, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Gillmann loved the St. Louis Cardinals, gardening and watching birds. She also enjoyed her flowers and reading books. Born Jan. 7, 1934, in Corning, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Ava (Bellah) Waldo. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ervin L. Gillmann.
She is survived by a daughter: Judi Graham of Ballwin; two stepchildren; five grandchildren: Scott, Jeff, Lisa, Adam and Cassie; five great-grandchildren: Kendall, Landen, Katelyn, Shane and Jordan; three siblings: Shirley (Richard) Carson of Barnhart, Larry (Judy) Baker of Steadman and Lemmy Maddox of Festus; a sister-in-law: Ruby Waldo of House Springs; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Dorothy Rogers, Jim Waldo and Richard Baker; a brother-in-law: Max Rogers; and a sister-in-law: Gerrie Baker.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 27, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the funeral home. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 6610 St. Luke’s Church Road, Imperial, 63052. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
