Elnora Marie Albano-Holman, 97, of Ballwin, formerly of Crystal City, died Nov. 17, 2021, at Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield. Mrs. Albano-Holman was a retired radiology technician, having worked for Dr. Donnell and Dr. Glasgow in the Twin City area. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Festus/Crystal City. Born Nov. 6, 1924, in Goldman, she was the daughter of the late Edith (Guyton) and John Judy. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Mario “Mike” Albano and Sidney J. Holman Sr.
She is survived by two sons: David Lynn (Ruth) Albano of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mario John “Mike” (Jill) Albano of Manchester; five grandchildren: Jonathan (Brandy) Albano, Melissa (Jason) Albano-Barth, Elizabeth (Brian) Boles, Brian Albano and Rebecca (Kevin) Largent; seven great-grandchildren: Samantha Albano, Abby Albano, Daniel Albano, Connor Boles, Lydia Boles, Sophia Largent and Gareth Largent; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by six sisters: Helen (the late Paul) Thomure, Myrtle (the late Austin “Bud”) Allen, Nell (the late Everett) Hawkins, Kay (the late William) Minges, Edith (the late Harold) Primo and Irene (the late Claude) Aubuchon; and a brother: John Judy.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Thomas Worsham. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Festus/Crystal City, 107 N Truman Blvd., Crystal City, 63019; or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
