Elbert “Buster” Brown, 80, of House Springs died Aug. 12, 2019. Mr. Brown was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed watching basketball, baseball, and football. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, and could fix just about anything he put his mind to. Born Jan. 17, 1939, in Montier, he was the son of the late Elmer and Delsia (Thomas) Brown.
He is survived by his wife: Lucinda “Ruth” (Ladymon) Brown; two children: Denise Brown of House Springs and Bryan (Stephanie) Brown of High Ridge; four grandchildren: Jordan Brown, Brett Brown, Cynthee Brown and Madelyn Brown; four siblings: Lilie Carr, Leveta Davis, Wilma Smotherman and Shirley Brown; several siblings-in-law: and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: Hazel Smith and Emmett Spangler.
A funeral service was held Aug. 15 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
