E.F. Hutchison, 86, of Bonne Terre died Aug. 28, 2017, at the home of his daughter. Mr. Hutchison was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church and was the lead singer for the Twin City Gospel Singers. Born Aug. 14, 1931, in Malden, he was the son of the late Elmer and Margie (Brown) Hutchison. He was preceded in death by his wife: Welma Hutchison.
He is survived by two daughters: Laura (James) Logsdon and Lenore (Rick) Buerck; five grandchildren: Patrick, James and Deatra Logsdon and Aaron and Abigail Buerck; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by an infant son: Larry Hutchison; and a sister: Louise Vincent.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 7422 Stormy Lane, in Bonne Terre. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at the church, officiated by the Rev. Larry Allison and assisted by the Rev. Herb McMillian. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Gospel Light Children’s Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills.
