Dorothy M. Mann, 84, of Hillsboro died Aug. 13, 2019, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center. Mrs. Mann was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping and garage sales. She was a member of Sandy Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Born Feb. 8, 1935, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Eleanor (Eschenbach) and Robert Gross. She was preceded in death by her husband: Wilburn Mann.
She was survived by two sons: Mike (Lynn) Mann of Fenton and Ricky (Cheryl) Mann of Festus; two daughters: Kathy Pitts of Florida and Crissy Mann of Hillsboro; a brother: Billy (Marie) Gross of Arnold; a sister: Rosemary Kennedy of Wright City; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald Gross, Raymond Gross and Robert Gross; and a son-in-law: Bobby Pitts.
A funeral service was held Aug. 19 at Sandy Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Burial was in the Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsboro. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
