Donald “Donny Moose” Leutzinger, 66, of Festus, formerly of Hillsboro, died June 16, 2019, at Festus Manor Nursing Center. Mr. Leutzinger served with the U.S. Marine Corps in 1971 and was raised in the Baptist faith. Born Oct. 15, 1952, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Esther (Lawson) and Luther Leutzinger.
He is survived by three brothers: Robert (Sheila) Leutzinger, Charles Leutzinger and David Leutzinger, all of Festus; a brother-in-law: Norman Hinrichs; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He preceded in death by a sister: Sharon Hinrichs.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Cindy Fallert. Burial is in the Herculaneum City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
