Deanna Marie Cords, 31, of Crystal City died June 10, 2022. Ms. Cords loved working with seniors, making cakes, helping friends and spending time with her family. Born May 14, 1991, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Tammy (Depew) and Michael Cords Sr. of Crystal City.
She is survived by two children: Braelyn Prosser of Festus and Steve A. Walker III of Crystal City; a sister: Elizabeth (fiance Zakk Polette) Brown of Festus; and a brother: Michael (Emily) Cords Jr. of Festus.
Memorial gathering will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday, June 20, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, followed immediately by funeral services. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to a trust established for her children in care of Michael Cords Sr. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
