Darlene Smalley, 61, of Barnhart died July 16, 2018. Born in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Loleta (Simmons) and Robert F. Ditmeyer.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years: Richard A. Smalley; three children: Amber (Patrick) Hutsler, Kimberly (Kyle Owens) Smalley and Richard R. (Nikki Moonier) Smalley; two sisters: Barbara (Larry) Lindsey and Karen (Greg) Farmer; two brothers: Dan (Jackie) Ditmeyer and Jerry Ditmeyer; a brother-in-law: Darrell Castillo; and seven grandchildren: Rylan Davis, Colton and Coraleigh Owens, Cameron and Kayleigh Hutsler and Liam and Paisley Smalley.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Castillo.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-6 pm, Saturday, July 28, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, followed immediately by a ceremonial service. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
