Daniel Shayne Murray, 15, of Barnhart died May 2, 2020, at his home. He was a freshman at Windsor High School. Born Feb. 15, 2005, in Town and Country, he was the son of Heather (Finney) Mayfield and Dan Murray of California.
He also is survived by a stepfather: Adam Mayfield of Barnhart; two siblings: Quinn and Hudson Mayfield of Barnhart; six grandparents: Michael and Christina Finney of Paris, Mo., Sheila (Jim Windle) Lauderdale of Imperial, Kim (the late Daniel) Murray of south St. Louis County, Debbie Tilford of Arnold and Stephen Mayfield of Fenton; an aunt: Michele West; and an uncle: Lane Petit.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
