Chris W. Pinkley, 38, of De Soto died Aug 19, 2019, in St. Francois County. Mr. Pinkley was an auto mechanic. He liked motorcycles, working on cars and making people laugh. He was born Oct. 28, 1980, in St. Louis County. He was the son of Clifford Pinkley of De Soto and Patricia (Huskey) Matheny of De Soto. He also was the stepson of Jimmy Matheny of De Soto.
He is survived by a grandmother: Mary Warmbrodt of Desloge; one son: Jasper Pinkley of Cadet; and two siblings: Billy (Megan) Wamsganz of Murphysboro, Ill., and Brandi Pinkley of Festus.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents: Victor Huskey Jr. and Willys and Mildred Pinkley.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until the funeral services at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 22, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
