Carroll Keith Simmons, 88, of Royal, Ark., formerly of Barnhart died Jan. 29, 2019, in Hot Springs, Ark. Mr. Simmons was a journeyman electrician with General Motors in St. Louis. He was a member of the Glory Barn Church in Hot Springs and a former member of the Parkton Assembly of God Church in Barnhart. Born Jan. 29, 1931, in Clemscott, Okla., he was the son of the late Leatha Viola (Brown) and James Alonzo Simmons.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years: Betty Jo (White) Simmons; two children: Kerri Meese of Imperial and Kim (Dale) Adams of Barnhart; two siblings: Lindell (Nora) Simmons of Fenton and Jerre Simmons of Kirkwood; and two grandchildren: Coly (Troy) Mullins of Barnhart and Amy Perfater of Imperial.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years: Betty Jean (Wells) Simmons; a son: Alan Keith Simmons; two brothers: Larry (Betty Jo) Simmons and Kenneth (Carol) Simmons; and a grandson: Timothy Keith Crane.
