Dively, Carl

Carl F. Diveley, 87, of Arnold died Dec. 16, 2021, in Arnold. Mr. Diveley was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1954-1959 and was a member of American Legion Post 283 and the United States Navy Cruiser Sailors Association. He was Catholic and a retired Teamster with Local 600. Born May 29, 1934, in Lemay, he was the son of the late Virgil and Clara (Marty) Diveley.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Isabel (Jiminez) Diveley of Arnold; three children: David (Tammy) Diveley of Cape Girardeau, Dan (Lisa) Diveley of Imperial and Doug (Beth) Diveley of Arnold; eight grandchildren: Kyle Diveley, Colleen Diveley-Peery, James Diveley, Daniel Diveley, Sophia Diveley, Ellen Diveley-Robben, Thomas Diveley and Emily Diveley; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven siblings: Dorothy, Edwin, Leonard, Loretta, Virgil, Eugene and Norbert.

Visitation will be held beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at St. David Catholic Church, 2334 Tenbrook Road, in Arnold, officiated by the Rev. Charles Ferrara. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 283 or United States Navy Cruiser Sailors Association, 21 Colonial Way, Rehoboth, MA 02769. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
