Blanche J. Helms, 56, of De Soto died March 4, 2019, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Helms was a homemaker. Born Sept. 4, 1962, in Farmington, she was the daughter of the late Hazel (Wilson) and Jim O’Neal Sr.
She is survived by two children: Glen (Heather) Youngblood Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Brandy (Jeff) Goodman of Kansas City; four siblings: Pam (John) Kincaid of De Soto, Peggy (Bob) Wallenbrock of De Soto, Sherry (Ron) Lynn of Fenton and Michael O’Neal of Fenton; a sister-in-law: Laura O’Neal of De Soto; two grandchildren: Blake Youngblood and Lilah Goodman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy J. O’Neal Jr.
A memorial gathering is at noon, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Brother Bob Thebeau.
