Barbara Joan Schroeter, 80, of south St. Louis County, died Oct. 21, 2018. Mrs. Schroeter was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Johns Women's Fellowship, the Sappington Concord Historical Society, the Arnold Historical Society, Eastern Star and White Shrine.
Born Jan. 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Santhuff) Beilstien. She was preceded in death by her husband: John F. Schroeter.
She is survived by three children: John W. (Donna) Schroeter, Jerry Schroeter and Joan (Mike) Williams; four grandchildren: John W. (Rina) Schroeter Jr., Kevin Williams, Julie (Ian Kennedy) Schroeter and Kari Williams; one great-grandchild: Audrey R. Schroeter; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a sister: Beverly A. Scheidt.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Visitation is at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at St. John’s Evangelical United Church of Christ, 11333 St. John Church Road, in St. Louis. Burial is in the New St. John’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Evangelical United Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Fey Funeral Home.
