Amber Jo Fischer, 38, of Festus died Feb. 25, 2020, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Born Feb. 16, 1982, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Harry Haithcoat of St. Peters and the late Brenda Kay (Land) Boyer.
She is survived by her husband: Brian Fischer; four daughters: Sydney, Emma, Allie and Everly Fischer; a son: Alex Fischer; two sisters: Stefanie (Justin Inman) Burger of Festus and Brooke Boyer of St. Louis; two brothers: Jason Haithcoat of Festus and John (Ashley Doney) Boyer Jr. of Festus; three grandchildren: Maxton Fiedler, Lincoln Fiedler and Aria Eldridge; two nieces: Revel Gallagher and Amaya Haithcoat; and two nephews: Brayden Burger and Landen Burger.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather: John Alan Boyer Sr.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray. Burial will follow in the Presbyterian/ Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
