Arnold Police are asking motorists to avoid the intersection at Tenbrook Road and Foxwood Estates after a water main break in the area caused icy conditions on the road this morning (Jan. 20).
The department posted the warning on its Facebook page at about 8 a.m. after a patch of ice formed on Tenbrook Road because of the extremely low temperature.
Public Water Supply District 1 reported some Arnold residents living in subdivisions off Tenbrook Road may have low or no water pressure because of the break.
Residents living on Schneider Drive, Rinnie Court, Southgate Drive, Southwood, Southcrest Drive, Foxwood Estates Drive and Tenbrook Road are affected by the break, the district reported.
A boil advisory has not been issued because of the break, and the district said a crew is working to restore service.
