• A South Carolina man is back in Columbia to face murder charges for a 26-year-old cold case. Authorities booked Sentrell Wilson, 45, into the Boone County Jail Monday evening. Prosecutors say Wilson killed University of Missouri student Candace Richie in 2000.

• Heavy rain and rushing water forced the closure of North Route F near Harrisburg Monday evening. A rusted culvert pipe failed and caused the road surface to cave in around 5 p.m. Missouri Department of Transportation crews shut down the stretch of road to turn vehicles around while repairs are assessed.

• Columbia native Robin Wenneker is the new chairperson of the Missouri Farm Service Agency State Committee. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins appointed Wenneker to oversee statewide farm programs and stakeholder relations.

• Columbia police arrested a 26-year-old woman Sunday after she allegedly shot at her ex-boyfriend in North Columbia. Nakira Johnson reportedly fired at the victim’s vehicle near West Texas Avenue and Creasy Springs around noon. Johnson faces charges of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. No injuries or property damage were reported.

• A 20-year-old Columbia man died Sunday morning following a rollover crash in Audrain County. State troopers say the man was driving a Chevy Silverado on County Road 234 when he overcorrected and hit a tree. He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

• Columbia police arrested Grant Buxton, 44, Friday following a stabbing in the Benton-Stephens neighborhood. Officers found a man with critical injuries in the 1600 block of Richardson Street after an afternoon altercation. Buxton faces charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action. The victim was in the hospital in critical condition Friday.
