An Indiana man faces stalking charges after allegedly sending several threatening and explicit messages to Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham on social media, according to a news release from Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears.
Kevin Singh, 48, was arrested Tuesday and charged Wednesday for stalking, intimidating and harassing the former Mizzou basketball player.
The probable cause affidavit alleges that Singh's behavior began to escalate in February, and his behavior continued to worsen even after the Fever's security team contacted him, according to the news release.
Singh has been on probation in Hendricks County since pleading guilty to two counts of felony invasion of privacy in a separate case. Five felonies were dismissed in that case, including the lead charge of stalking, according to the news release.
"Coming forward is never easy, regardless of a person's position or public profile," Mears wrote in a statement issued Wednesday. "The victim is setting an example by speaking out. No one should have to endure harassment, intimidation or threats of violence, and every person deserves to feel safe in their workplace and throughout our community."
This is the second time someone has been charged with stalking involving a member of the Indiana Fever. In July 2025, 55-year-old Michael Lewis was sentenced to almost 2½ years in prison for stalking Caitlin Clark, according to reporting by ESPN.
