Arnold Police are investigating a recent theft at an Ameren Missouri substation, 11 Tenbrook Industrial Park. Two rolls of wire were stolen, a report said.
The theft happened between 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 and 7 a.m. Sept. 11, when someone cut a chain to get inside a fenced area at the substation. The stolen wire was valued at $13,000, according to the report.
As of Oct. 19, the wire had not been recovered. There were no suspects or arrest either, Detective Lt. James Jones said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
