The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at the White Castle, 310 Emerson Road, in High Ridge. Nothing was stolen during the burglary, but there was damage to items inside the building, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
It looked like someone illegally entered the building through an unlocked side door between 1 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. Sept. 15 and damaged the drive-through window, three cash register drawers, a safe and a filing cabinet. The Sheriff’s Office didn’t have an estimate for the damage, according to the report.
Moore said on Sept. 22 that the Sheriff’s Office had no suspects and had made no arrests in connection in the case. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
