A large TV and two bottles of alcohol recently were stolen from a home in the 3700 block of Terrace Drive in House Springs, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between 7:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. March 4, someone broke glass out of a French door in the basement to get inside the home and stole the items, the report said.
In addition to a Samsung 60-inch, flat-screen TV, stolen items included a bottle of Bowmore scotch whiskey and a bottle of Bulleit bourbon. Altogether, the stolen items were valued at $3,635. The damage to the French door was estimated at $800, according to the report.
A deputy got a fingerprint from the DirecTV box that had been hooked up to the TV and submitted that as evidence, the report said.
As of March 11, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
