Arnold Police arrested a 39-year-old St. Clair man for alleged possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. The man was arrested at 10:11 a.m. July 15, after police got a call about a disturbance at WoodSpring Suites, 888 Arnold Commons Drive, Arnold Police reported.

The man allegedly was arguing with a 35-year-old Arnold woman in one of the rooms at the hotel. After police stopped the dispute, officers searched the man and allegedly found him with a clear plastic bag filled with a substance believed to be meth and a small amount of marijuana, the report said.

The man was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and later released pending application for warrants. Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of meth and marijuana, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
