The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a man suspected in an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience Store and gas station, 2285 S. Old Hwy. 141, in unincorporated Fenton. The robbery happened about 1:15 a.m. Aug. 15, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The suspect reportedly pointed a handgun at a female clerk and demanded the money in the cash drawer. The clerk opened the cash drawer and placed it on the counter, and the suspect allegedly “grabbed the cash drawer and exited the building,” the report said.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said surveillance footage showed the suspect running from the scene. He also said the Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the amount of money stolen from the business.
The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie with red sleeves and a Nintendo 64 logo on the front, the report said.
Bissell said today (Aug. 23) that no arrests had been made and no money had been recovered.
