The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at Judy’s Garden Shop in the 5500 block of Hwy. 61-67 in Imperial. The burglary happened between 10 p.m. Nov. 13 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 14, the report said.
Someone used a hammer to tear a hole in the wall to get inside and then stole two propane heaters, a machete, a game camera and a Makita drill with a battery and a charger. In all, the items were valued at $320, according to the report.
Some items were stolen from the office and some from a greenhouse, the report said.
As of Tuesday (Nov. 22), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Lt. Gary Higginbotham said. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
