The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at B & B Auto Services, 1089 Gravois Road, in the Fenton area. The burglary happened overnight between March 9 and March 10, the report said.

Someone pried open a garage door and then broke two interior doors to get inside the business and an office inside it, where there was a cash register. About $140 in cash was stolen, and damage to the doors was estimated at another $600, according to the report.

The business owner told deputies she got a call from the alarm company around 1 a.m. March 10 about an alarm sounding at the business and she checked on the business and found the garage door was damaged. However, she thought someone had just driven into the door, so she called the alarm company and had the alarm deactivated. The next morning, though, the manager found the damage inside the building, and the cash was discovered missing, the report said.

As of Tuesday (March 21), the cash had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
