The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to identify the man in this photo taken from surveillance footage. 

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to identify a man seen in surveillance video allegedly stealing a pickup from Roger’s Truck Repair in the unincorporated Fenton. The Sheriff’s Office posted photos from the June 19 surveillance video today, July 12.

A man wearing a black and white, long-sleeved shirt who was holding a large cup and wearing glasses on his head is seen in the photos. He allegedly stole a 2006 Ford F-250 from outside the truck repair shop, 1 Champion Drive, spokesman Grant Bissell said.

The man allegedly can be seen in the video at about 8:20 a.m. June 19 breaking out the middle rear window of the pickup’s cab and climbing into the pickup. The theft was reported at about 8 a.m. June 20, Bissell said.

A customer had left the pickup at the repair shop. The truck was valued at about $16,000, according to the report.
