An Imperial woman was injured Friday evening, July 21, when she was riding on the back of a motorcycle in High Ridge and was thrown from it, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:55 p.m., Adam L. Massey, 38, of Imperial was riding a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja east on Hwy. 30 west of High Ridge Boulevard and stopped hard at a red light, ejecting Rachel M. Massey, 39, of Imperial, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Both the Masseys were wearing helmets, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle sustained minor damage, the report said.
