Arnold Police are looking for a 33-year-old Cedar Hill man suspected of trying to return $36.71 in merchandise he had stolen from the Walmart Supercenter, 2201 Michigan Ave., says Capt. Robert Ruckman.
Arnold Police got a call at 6:19 p.m. July 19 about the incident.
When the man was confronted, he ran away, and police pursued him toward I-55, but he escaped, Arnold Police reported.
Police later identified him, but as of July 30 had not found him, Ruckman said.
