Arnold Police are investigating the theft of $1,195 in checks from Beck’s Mini Mart that were later cashed. Police have identified a person of interest – a woman who previously worked at the convenience store, 1227 Telegraph Road – and are looking for her, police reported.
Two checks, for $500 and $245, allegedly were stolen on June 28 and July 6 and cashed on July 12 and July 18 at Enterprise Bank and Trust, 1334 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, the report said.
Capt. Rich Shular said a $450 cashier’s check that a renter dropped off at the business for the owner also was stolen and cashed, but he didn’t know when and where.
As of July 31, police had not been able to get in touch with the woman, Shular said.
