A motorcycle chained up outside a Festus mobile home in the 100 block of Lilac Drive in Festus was stolen. The incident was reported at 8:50 p.m. Jan. 2, Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis said.
“There was a cable lock that was cut,” he said. “The victim, a 43-year-old woman, last saw it (the motorcycle) Dec. 30. She noticed it was missing Jan. 2.”
The motorcycle, a 2005 Yamaha, was valued at $900. As of Jan. 8, it had not been recovered, Lewis said.
